The Media Center MediACT in Korea is a non-profit organisation founded by the Korea Film Commission in 2002 and run by the Association of Korean Independent Film & Video. Dong-won Jo, Kyu-hun Hong and Hye-mi Park of MediACT joined the New Media & Social Transformation International Conference in Hong Kong during 9th-10th Dec 2005 and then visited the Creative Media Centre @ SPCS on 11th Dec. Wing-fai Lee of Buddhist Wong Wan Tin College and Chitat Chan of SPCS shared with them the development of new media education in Hong Kong, the collaborative initiatives of HKMediaEd.net, SPCS and other Professional Development School (PDS) partner schools.
