Tonight, May 26th, at 6:30, a new art exhibit titled “LOVE STREET”, featuring controversially-slated-for-redevelopment neighborhood, Lee Tung Street, opens at UMA G, on the ground floor at 12 St. Francis Street in Wanchai. After tonight’s opening reception, following events will include a film showing (Sunday) and an artists reception (on June 3rd). One of the artists is Pakchai, the photographer who came to speak to Creative Media students about cultural preservation and his work archiving “old” Wan Chai on November 18th 2005 (see article 20051118).
